Cookies and browser storage
MyParty.ie uses necessary account technology and offers a separate choice for optional, privacy-minimised analytics.

- Directory boundary
- Supplier listings use public business information and link directly to supplier websites. Booking and payment take place with the supplier, not MyParty.ie.
Current position
MyParty.ie does not use advertising, behavioural profiling, social-media pixels or personalised tracking. Public directory and contact pages work when optional analytics is rejected. Hostinger may process ordinary server/CDN request metadata as the hosting provider, as described in the privacy notice.
Optional analytics
| Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
myparty-analytics-consent | Remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics | 180 days |
Google Analytics cookies beginning with _ga | Measure consented page use and useful directory actions | Set after acceptance; normally up to two years |
Google Analytics and MyParty.ie's anonymous first-party action measurement remain off until you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting does not send a cookieless analytics ping. The site does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers, form text or password-reset details to analytics.
Use Privacy choices in the footer at any time to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal stops new analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site.
Strictly necessary account technology
| Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
Secure HttpOnly cookies beginning with myparty-auth | Maintain a requested sign-in session, prevent session theft and support MFA/security transitions | Session or the configured account-session limit, currently no more than 8 hours in the protected design |
| Host/load-balancing security technology, if set | Transmit the requested page safely and consistently | Session or provider-defined necessary duration |
These technologies are treated as strictly necessary because the account holder explicitly requests sign-in and secure account operation. Blocking them may prevent registration, sign-in, MFA or the owner console from working.
Storage not used
The application stores no identity, form draft or advertising identifier in local storage, IndexedDB or a service-worker cache. The analytics choice is stored only in the preference cookie described above.
Controls and future changes
Advertising or any other non-essential purpose remains off. A material purpose, provider or retention change requires an updated notice and a new consent version. Non-essential technology will not load before an informed, specific and affirmative choice that is as easy to withdraw as to give.
The Irish Data Protection Commission explains the limited strictly necessary exemption in its cookies and tracking guidance.
